Variations in Spring Atmospheric Circulation on the Southwestern Tibetan Plateau During Holocene Linked to High‐ and Low‐Latitude Forcing

Recent climate and environment over the Tibetan Plateau (TP) have undergone significant changes, dominated by variations in Westerlies Indian summer monsoon. However, long-term shifts atmospheric circulation during transitional seasons are still lacking. Here we investigate modern distribution of Tsuga pollen central-western TP confirm it as an indicator variable spring. By combining our record from Taro Co with existing records source area, suggest that a potential particle transport pathway southern slope Himalayas to interior plateau appeared spring late Holocene. Our results show springtime southwestern early Holocene is closely related substantial remnants ice sheets at northern high latitudes frequency El Niño events, respectively.
